Behind the Scenes of Amerie's 'Heard 'Em All' Music Video

Violent, slow, sexy, sweaty and hot are the words that the director of the video used to describe the music video.

Long denied a release date, Amerie's "Heard 'Em All" is finally taking shape with the release of its music video's behind the scenes featurette. Shot back in August with director Anthony Mandler, the video is missing the song's featured artist Lil Wayne but boasting a pyrotechnics and some sets that require huge budget.

"We're just trying to do something that was rooted in fashion and kind of apocalyptic and kind of futuristic," Mandler explained the concept. "Raw, rugged, in your face. Less about the story and more about creating a movement." He continued, "We started off the day in the futuristic, apocalyptic world," before adding that he won't spoil too much to reveal the "surprise".

"Heard 'Em All" is one of the tracks from Amerie's delayed album "In Love & War". The album would be her first since leaving Columbia Records and forming her own label called Feenix Rising. It is scheduled to be released in U.S. on November 3. No word yet on the premiere date of the music video.
