“Boardwalk Empire” Gets Top Golden Globe Award

HBO received four Golden Globe Award in 68 Awards Ceremony, which took place in Los Angeles last night. The network is once again received the most awards at this event.

The famous series "Boardwalk Empire" topped the list with two awards, for Best TV Drama and Best TV Drama Actor (Steve Buscemi). Alongside this are the "Temple Grandin" and "You Do not Know Jack", was recognized for best television series and miniseries actress (Claire Danes) and Best TV Movie / Mini-Series Actor (Pacino), respectively.

As part of the lineup of HBO Latin America in 2011 the series "Big C" were also recognized for Best TV / Musical Actress (Laura Linney). Winners include Toy Story 3, more animated image, and social network with four awards, including Best Picture - Drama and Best Director.

The network received the awards in this context, to strengthen the quality of programming that HBO ® offers a wide range of TV series, films, specials and mini-series, which contains important social discourse and historical periods, moving and wonderful way .

HBO has received nine nominations and a Golden Globe this year, including:

"Boardwalk Empire", and three nominations, including: Best TV Drama Best TV Drama Actor (Steve Buscemi), and Supporting Actress, TV (Kelly MacDonald).

"Temple Grandin" with three nominations, including: best TV movie / mini-series, Best Actress in a TV Movie / Mini-Series (Claire Danes), and Best TV Actor (David Strathairn).
