Heidi Klum flies the flag for Germany at the Best of British party in a little black dress

With a pair of pins like that, we'd probably brave the cold winter weather to show them off too.

So there was no blaming Heidi Klum for flashing her enviable legs as she partied in London last night.

Showing off her supermodel credentials, the German catwalk queen got her gothic chic on as she attended the InStyle magazine Best of British Talent Party in association with Lancome.

The 37-year-old looked stunning in her short black dress, which was decorated in feathers and sequins.

Her hair tied back in a chic bun, she completed the look with towering peep-toed slingbacks which added even more inches to her 5ft 9in frame.

Heidi was a guest at the bash, which celebrates the upcoming Bafta Film Awards next month, at members' club Shoreditch House.

She was joined at the bash by actress Thandie Newton and pop stars Sophie Ellis Bexter, Mel C and Corrine Bailey Rae.

Crash star Thandie wore an eye-catching blue and grey dress by Jonathan Saunders from the Spring 2011 line.

Also attending was former Eastenders star Preeya Kalidas, who was wrapped up against the cold in a faux fur coat.

Heidi, who is married to singer Seal who did not accompany her to the event, also larked about with presenter Jonathan Ross.

The annual party partnership, which this year was held with cosmetics firm Lancôme, is a pre-party to the forthcoming 2011 Orange British Academy Film Awards next month and celebrates the best of British film, fashion and music.

Heidi did not, however, pop her head round the door of another party going on at the same time in Shoreditch House.

We suspect she might have caused quite a stir among the lesser known celebrities who attended Elen Rivas's 36th birthday bash in another room.

Heidi arrived in the capital at the weekend where she will be promoting her new TV show Seriously Funny Kids in which she plays pranks and tricks on children.
