The pair is working hard to save their five-year marriage by undergoing intense marriage counseling sessions several times a day in their Florida mansion.

As reports of him involving in at least three extramarital affairs during his 5 years marriage to Elin Nordegren continue to explode, Tiger Woods has been avoiding the spotlight and staying at his Florida mansion, where Elin joins him to have intense marriage counseling. The Chicago-Sun Times mentions the husband and wife have been undergoing sessions several times a day in a bid to save their marriage.

Greater than that, Woods' mother, Kultida Woods, and Nordegren's mother, Barbro Holmberg, are said to have been in touch with the couple to do all they can to help them avoid divorce. A source says Woods' mother is extremely grateful her son's two children, Sam Alexis and Charlie Axel, are "as young as they are" thus the infidelity story "will be ancient history by the time they are old enough to learn about it."

In related news, Woods and Nordegren are reported updating their pre-nuptial agreement. The initial pre-nup which they signed at the time of their October 2004 marriage listed a divorce settlement worth of $20 million for former model Nordegren should they get divorced after 10 years of marriage. The new one, in fact, rules Woods to pay Nordegren as much as $55 million if she stays with him two more years beginning from the time being, The Daily Beast claims in an exclusive report on its site. Besides, Nordegren reportedly is negotiating an immediate $5 million payout to be transferred into her personal account.

Still, there has been no single statement made by either Woods or Nordegren regarding the report. Their people also haven't addressed either one of the much-talked issues.
