A number of celebrities took part at a charity event for the homeless in Los Angeles downtown's Skid Row on Thursday, December 24. The likes of Corbin Bleu, Bonnie Hunt and Boo Boo Stewart showed up to support the annual event.

Corbin, in particular, was accompanied by his father David. In addition to helping out the Los Angeles Mission, he has also been campaigning awareness on raising funds for the non-profit organization. "Merry Christmas! Thanks for supporting the LA Mission Text2Give. Text 'GIFT' to 40579 to donate $5," so he wrote on Twitter.

Joining the "High School Musical" star, "The Bonnie Hunt Show" host and the "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" actor were Kate Linder, Stephanie Pratt, Gilles Marini, Carolyn Hennesy and many more. As volunteers, they came early to the event, wrapping gift donations and preparing dinner for the homeless.

Meals were started to be served at about 6:00 AM at the Fifth Street which was closed from Wall Street to San Pedro. The menu included roast chicken, tasty glazed ham and asparagus roll, 3-cheese macaroni, mixed vegetables, dinner rolls, butter and jelly. Pie was given away as the dessert.

The underprivileged kids also got the joy as Santa Claus brought them toys which were donated by JAKKS Pacific Inc., a designer and marketer of toys, and the Walt Disney Co. The holiday music was performed for the thousand guests by a number of local musical groups.
