It's only fitting a Brigitte Bardot lookalike should be found in the south of France as the Riviera begins to warm up at this time of year.

And Georgia May Jagger looked quite at home as she dolled up in a series of sensational - if slightly revealing - sheer outfits to take part in an unusual catwalk show for Chanel yesterday.

She may have been being 'grounded' by her famous parents, but they could hardly quibble with the classy way she broke their curfew

Georgia appears to be just as rebellious as her father once was, and looked pretty pleased with herself as she posed for pictures.

Father Mick decided to come down hard on the teenager after pictures emerged in January that appeared to show her sniffing a substance during her birthday party at a pub near the family home.

But the 18-year-old flew in for the premiere screening of Karl Lagerfeld's new short film Remember Now on Monday night.

And then yesterday, she was the centrepiece of the Chanel Cruise 2011 show, outshining even the Victoria's Secret model Karolina Kurkova.

First she drew admiring glances in a sheer cover-up and one-piece swimsuit teamed with thigh-high cream leather boots with signature flower embellishments.

She joined a number of other models to pose on a speedboat which cruised the harbour.

Next, she pulled on another pair of thigh-high boots, this time in tan, and a high-necked Seventies-style fringe dress to clamber on the back of a motorbike.

She rode sidesaddle in front of the audience, who were assembled in a patisserie on the dockside.

Last but not least, she paraded along the cobbles in high-waisted brown bell-bottoms, gold bikini top and classic frayed tweed jacket, accessorized with a selection of cuffs.

Kurkova modelled a brown miniskirt, more thigh-high boots, ruffled chiffon blouse and suede jacket complete with brooch.

Georgia May, who attends a £10,000-a-year school in Surrey, is supposed to be studying for her A-levels.

A source said: 'Although Georgia is adamant drugs were not taken on her birthday, Mick and Jerry curtailed her partying from that point on.'

But the ban appears to have some flexibility, and may permit her to continue with her lucrative part-time career as a model.

The teenager is said to have earned close to £600,000 from a three-year £1million deal with jeans manufacturer Hudson.

She has already appeared on the front cover of Vogue, and become the face of campaigns for Rimmel and Versace.

But Mummy and Daddy were too busy last night anyhow doing their own things to register any serious disapproval.

Jerry Hall was at Claridge's where she attended a Vogue party to celebrate 50 years of the magazine.

Meanwhile, Mick Jagger was at the Museum of Modern Art in New York with girlfriend L'Wren Scott and fellow Stones Charlie Watts and Keith Richards for a screening of Stones In Exile, the reissue of four lost recordings from their Exile On Main St album from 1972.

The songs - which have never been aired and were unknown to Stones aficionados - were discovered after Jagger and Richards listened again to the original master copies of the sessions for classic album.
