Suri is more often seen in the company of her mother, enjoying the girly delights of shopping and dance classes.

But busy A-list father Tom Cruise got in on the act yesterday as he was seen escorting his young daughter from a restaurant in New York last night.

Suri clearly enjoyed the attention from her father, as she walked by his side clutching two of her favourite soft toys.

The family dined together at Ristorante Il Cantinori in the Big Apple.

Cruise spent some quality time with his daughter as he prepared to make a rare appearance in London.

The actor is set to fly in to the UK this week for the National Movie Awards.

The ITV awards, voted by the public, will be shown live on Wednesday night.

His new film Knight And Day is up for the most anticipated summer movie award.
It turned out to be a bit of a gourmet fest for the four-year-old yesterday, as earlier in the day she enjoyed an ice-cream treat at Sundaes & Cones ice-cream parlour.

Suri was seen with a biscuit cone overflowing with strawberry ice-cream from the parlour which is known for its inventive flavours.

Along with unusual flavours such as wasabi and black sesame, its well known for its old school-style ice cream.

Earlier in the day the four-year-old enjoyed perusing shoes with Katie at a department store.

Suri, who loves girl fashions, handbags and wearing make-up, is so keen to be grown up like mother Katie, she even wore a pair of matching shoes.

They both sported purple ballet pumps as they shopped in Los Angeles yesterday - although Katie wore hers with a pair of white frilly socks underneath.

The four-year-old, who is allowed to wear kitten heeled shoes, and make-up has a wardrobe rumoured to be worth around £2million.
