Tender Peach is a bright, muted pinky peach. The color is very opaque, the formula is very smooth and the finish is glossy. As far as long wearing.. not so much. Rouge Volupte doesn't have the best staying power.. and for $34 a tube.. It is quite pricey for a lipstick that you may need to constantly reapply. Nevertheless, it comes in a beautiful, classy gold tube and the color and consistency on the lips is amazing. This is my 2nd Rouge Volupte (I own #2 Sensual Silk as well) and I now have got my eyes on #13 Peach Passion and
#30 Faubourg Peach.

Here are some swatches I took indoors with a soft flash. I swatched Tender Peach next to a couple of lipsticks I found similar in color.
Pictured from Left to Right: Yves Saint Laurent YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick #26 Tender Peach, Wet n Wild Mega Matte Lipstick #903C Just Peachy and MAC Shygirl Lipstick. (The lighting conditions: Daytime, Indoors with a soft flash)
Tender Peach looks almost exactly like Just Peachy except for the fact that the finishes are completely differnt. Tender Peach has a high shine glaze finish, while Just Peachy is matte. I'm not sure if my mind was playing tricks on me or not after staring at both swatches.. but Tender Peach seems to be the tiniest bit more peach toned than Just Peachy. Shygirl is the lighest of the three and has the strongest peach tone. Tender Peach actually looks like the Love Child of Shygirl and Just Peachy.. It's like the exact mixture of the two shades.
Here are some additional swatches with no flash. These swatches are a better representation of the shades. (Sorry there are so many, I figured the more the merrier)

Stripdown Lipliner. (flash)

My Lovely Haul! MAC, Inglot, YSL, OPI!!! With many thanks to Sarah (iheartcosmetics)!!

Hi Guys! I have lots of posts to share with you. :) So If I do a million posts today, I apologize but I try to take advantage of my free time by blogging!

I wanted my 1st post to be about the giveaway I won!! I have never won a giveaway, so I was so overjoyed about winning Sarah's 500 Follower giveaway. I couldn't believe all of the nice things I was going to receive!! It arrived a few days ago and it came on such a perfect day because I was in such a sad/upset mood and it really turned my day into an awesome one.

Sarah is such a sweet girl.. It was incredibly generous of her to purchase these things (which are so expensive!) for her bloggers. If you aren't a follower of her blog, you should definitely check it out. She has really good, useful posts about makeup, self tanning, etc. We have very similar (if not the same!) tastes in makeup, so I love reading her new posts. Thank you again, Sarah!! I ♥ YOU!

Here are some pictures and swatches of my winnings!

I opened everything at my desk at work.. She included a very cute, witty card that's displayed on my desk now. lol I LOVE CARDS. I'm very sentimental.

Inglot Eyeshadow Double Sparkle #467
This is a light peach with a golden shimmery sheen. It goes on very light and looks gorgeous as a highlight/ all over lid color or even a highlight for the face. I never actually really heard of Inglot until now. I know the brand really isn't available where I live.

Inglot Nail Enamel #715. I've been looking for a color like this for such a long time! I applied it to one nail, and its gorgeous. It's a milky, opaque mauvey pink. I love this for a neutral look!! Once my current nail polish starts to chip, I'm going to use this and post a NOTD (Nails of the Day).

Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté #2. I was especially excited about this lipstick! I've wanted to try these for so long. I held the tube like I was holding a baby. LOL. I had no idea how big the tube is! Its such a large tube compared to my other lipsticks and its so sturdy and heavy. Also, I had no idea there was a little mirror on top of the cap and no idea that this smells like mangos :) yum. This is such a glossy lipstick. It's very creamy and shiny.

MAC Sculpting Powder in Sculpt (Pro). I'm very happy about this item because starting recently, I have been contouring my face. This is a light matte brown that applies light, but you can build the darkness you want. What I've been using up until this point to contour with is Estee Lauder Soft Matte Bronzer.

OPI Alice in Wonderland Mini Set. These colors are so pretty! I can't wait to try them. Especially the blue!

I hope you enjoyed my haul!! Thanks for reading, and don't forget to subscribe to Sarah!

Touche Eclat comes in four shades to suit your individual skin tone.

2) Luminous Ivory (for fair/ light/ medium complexions with yellow or golden undertones)
3) Light Peach (for warm and golden beige complexions)
4) Luminous Toffee (for deep complexions)

These are swatches of all the shades, thanks to Karlasugar :) The YSL website swatches look pretty accurate except for the fact that #1 has a pink tone to it.

REVIEW: This is an item I've been wanting to try for the longest time. While I was waiting in line to check out, the rack with miscellaneous travel items caught my eye. I immediately picked up the touche eclat and swatched it on my hand. The only shade available at that Sephora location was shade #1 (Radiant Touch) I did a little thinking.. I remember researching this before and I talked to a few people with the same coloring as me and majority used 2 or 3. I did notice that the color was RADIANT so I figured maybe its a universal color. It was a complete impulse buy. $40 for a .1 oz tube!? That's quite a lot. I don't even like spending that much on a foundation lol. I quickly tried it out when I got home.. and was not disappointed. It has a very creamy, milky consistency. It is light peach with a pink pearl to it. The brush is actually very soft.. and isn't exactly useless like most brushes that are attached to makeup items are. I use 1-2 clicks and dot it under my eyes after I already applied concealer and foundation.. then I either smooth it out with a really soft synthetic fiber brush or I pat it lightly with my ring finger (your ring finger has the least strength and will apply the least pressure) until its blended. I also like to run it down the bridge of my nose and under the arch of my brows to highlight. Some people argue this is not a concealer.. but it does conceal a bit. I applied it on some blemishes and around my nose where its a little pink and it concealed it. Its more of a highlighter. In contrast to Benefit High Beam which is also a pearly pink highlighter, benefit only highlights, it doesn't conceal.. and its also a lot more luminescent than the Touche Eclat. Touch Eclat is a lot more natural. It really does make me look more awake and it does an awesome job brightening so no darkness shows through. I was looking at a tutorial on the YSL site which was very helpful. You can also apply this around your lips to make them more defined. Scroll up for the YSL website link, it will take you directly to the page to watch the demo video. Overall, great product. I'd love to try shades 2 and 3 as well.

Review: Yves Saint Laurent Faux Cils Mascara

I've been now using this mascara every day for about a week.. maybe a little less. And I absolutely LOVE it. I am so thrilled that I decided to give it a try. And I believe this could possibly be my new favorite mascara. I really don't have many favorites, I feel all mascaras are the same. I like to apply coat after coat of mascara until they look a certain way.. which is achievable with almost any volumizing mascara if you take the time to keep applying coats. SO, let me tell you what I liked about this product!

It
lengthens and gives amazing volume. I keep applying it to my lashes until they reach my desired look. I think this is the 1st mascara I've owned that you don't have to wait to apply a second coat, you can keep applying, and your lashes will continue to look bigger and bigger WITHOUT clumping together! I find that with a lot of volumizing mascaras, if you keep applying, you will get short, fat lashes that sometimes stick together. But this is absolutely wonderful. It has a fresh fragrance that to me smells like a really good smelling hairspray or facial cream. Kind of like lilacs? I don't mind the smell at all. I love it in fact. I can actually smell it on my lashes. (Once i get use to it, I probably won't anymore) And this mascara actually curls my lashes a bit.. and holds the curl of my lashes. It is crucial for me right now to have a great mascara because in the past few months, I've had eye lash extensions which PULLED OUT ALL OF MY LASHES! I use to have pretty sparse lashes.. now, they're so tiny and flimsy. They use to be strong, now they're so brittle. But I know with time they will go back to the way they were. I actually received a compliment on my lashes by a gal at the local drugstore a couple days ago and I stood there for like 10 mins giving her mascara recommendations. And, my (soon to be) little niece asked me if I was wearing fake eye lashes (because I do most of the time) and I wasn't, just my Faux Cils Mascara :) And that really wow's me because even when my lashes were longer and healthier I never got compliments on my lashes! Oh yeah, and when I let my friend use it, she was like Whoa!! What mascara is this!? So yeah, this mascara kicks ass!!! haha

*Update: I stopped using this as my every day mascara because it transfers to my under eyes every few hours :( Why oh why????!
