Bollywood Hot pair Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will scorch the screen together after a break of three years, a romantic thriller Yash Raj Films banner, a first for the ‘Dabanng’ superstar.
“I am doing Kabir’s film…Katrina is there in the film. But it is not a superhero film. I can’t say what the film is about. I am honoured to work with Yashji who has worked closely with my father in the past,” said Salman.
“It is a very ambitious project and will be a challenge for all of us, but that’s exactly what makes it such a big draw,” he added.
The film, produced by Aditya Chopra has written and directed by Kabir Khan of the famous 'New York'. Under the title "Ek Tha Tiger", it is Salman’s first film under the YRF banner and goes on the ground in early July and released in mid-2012. The music is scored by Pritam.
Yash Chopra described the project as a ‘happy moment’ for him. “Everyone knows my association with Salim saab, having worked together on ‘Deewaar’, ‘Trishul’ and ‘Kaala Patthar’. It is a very happy moment for me and YRF to have his son Salman with us for the first time.
Over the years, Salman has become a very matured and talented actor and both he and the beautiful Katrina have a tremendous connect with their audiences.”
