Prashanth Back To Big Screen

Actor Prashanth is back on the big screen in style. "Ponna Sankar, based on the story of two brothers brave warrior who lived several centuries ago (written by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi), is almost complete and ready for release.

"Ponnar Sankar is known for being one of his (Karunanidhi a) more beautiful and are very dear to his heart. When an actor, producer and director Thiyagarajan approached him to do as a film, he agreed, says a press release.

The movie stars Prashanth in a double role, Parameshwaren Divya, Pooja Chopra (Miss India 2009), Jayaram, Khusboo, Prakash Raj, Sneha, Vadillo, Sita, Nepoleaon, Lakshmi, Raj Kiran Sukumar and distribution.

Speaking of film, Thiyagarajan said that the work of post-production for 'Ponnar Sankar took almost a year. Nearly 5000 junior artists and 1000 different artists from Chennai Sangamam with knowledge of traditional Indian arts of the South, working in film shoots. About 150 horses, elephants and peacocks were also made to give an authentic feeling of this period in ancient South India.
