After hinting that "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" is likely to happen, Robert Pattinson has talked about who should direct the movie. In a recent interview with MTV, the actor has revealed his desire to work with Gus Van Sant, the man behind 1997 "Good Will Hunting". "I think Gus Van Sant would be great to do it," he said. As for his reason in choosing Van Sant, the actor claimed the helmer has good reputation for making film in Portland, where the shooting for the next installment of the "Twilight" movies will possibly take place. "He shoots everything in Portland. He's good at making it look beautiful," he credited the director. Later, he added, "It's all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus Van Sant would be great."
Though Summit Entertainment has not confirmed that the fourth book of Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight Saga" will be made into film, Pattinson has previously claimed the making of "Breaking Dawn" is "pretty much inevitable." The British actor, moreover, gave a possible production schedule for the film, saying "I think it's going to be probably end of next year before filming." However, he noted that the studio may change the schedule.
"The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn" will serve as the follow up to the third "Twilight" film, "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". It will still revolve around the love story between Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen. Previously, there was a rumor that the fourth book may be split up into three movies, while the author, Stephenie Meyer, believes it should be made into two films.
Meanwhile, the upcoming "Twilight Saga" movie, "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", will hit U.S. theaters on November 20. It centers on Bella who feels devastated after facing separation from her vampire lover Edward, but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with werewolf Taylor Lautner's Jacob Black.
