The Best Birthday Present: A New Bed from West Elm

Last night my husband and I disassembled our old bed and slept on our boxspring and mattress. It was the best sleep I've had in awhile...I was probably super exhausted from pool days and birthday celebrations. We picked up our new bed today and though our room makeover is not 100% complete, the result is beautiful. These sofas make our room look SO much bigger than our leather couches did.As a reminder, here is what the room looked like before:Even with the addition of the

Weekend Shopping: Forever 21& Target

Candice and I started off our Saturday with a session at HardCore Pilates (which, once again, was hardcore). Then we headed to Starbucks (we are both obsessed with Skinny Vanilla Lattes) and headed to Rice Village to get pedicures. I usually do my own nails, but it's nice to have my toes done professionally every once in awhile. I don't like to go every week (or even every 2 weeks) but I'll go
