This editorial was definitely from early 1997 because Ling is wearing the Spring/Summer 1998 Christian Dior cheongsam (photo 1) that Nicole Kidman wore to the Oscar in March 1997. Plus Oluchi Onweagba Debra Shaw is wearing the Dior Masai warrior dress from the same collection.

I still remember the first time I saw these ads when it first appeared in magazines in early 1998. I was totally blown away by them because they were so different and there was an Asian face on them. Since then, I've been a huge fan of Ling Tan.
