Du Juan, Tao Okamoto, Hyun Yi Lee, Hyoni Kang, Liu Wen, Bonnie Chen, So Young Kang and Lily Zhi in Editorial for Vogue US, December 2010

Although this one-page editorial from Vogue US features some of the topic Asian models in the world, I am not a fan of story. I can hardly recognize the girls in all that garish hair and clothes. I wish they had chosen a more natural look.

Hyun Yi Lee in Editorial for Vogue Korea, May 2010

Finally, a decent non-studio editorial from Vogue Korea. And Hyun Yi Lee looks great, as usual.

Hyun Yi Lee Editorial for Vogue Korea, June 2010

I saw this in Fashion Copious and loved it. However, there is not much information on the story except it's from Vogue Korea, June 2010.

Hyun Yi Lee Editorial for Vogue China, July 2010

Again, BRAVO! to Vogue China for using Asian models who are not Chinese nationals in their editorial pages. Hyun Yi Lee and fellow South Koreans, Hye Park and Han Jin; Japanese models, Tao Okamoto and Ai Tominaga; and Russian Eugenia Mandzhieva have all appeared in the pages of Vogue China.

This is amazing and worth noting because Vogue Korea and Vogue Nippon rarely use Asian models outside of their countries. Tsk! Tsk!

BTW, has Lakshmi Menon ever been in Vogue China, Vogue Korea or Vogue Nippon? If not, Ms. Angelica Chang (editor-in-chief of Vogue China), please put an Indian girl in your magazine. If you do that, you will surpass Anna Wintour in my books. :)

Hyun Yi Lee Editorial for Marie Claire Korea, June 2010

Hyun Yi Lee has been a VERY BUSY girl lately. Apparently, the June 2010 issue of Vogue Korea was an all Hyun Yi Lee issue with at least three stories featuring her. In addition, she was featured in Marie Claire Korea and Harper's Bazaar Korea in both May and June 2010. And she just appeared in Vogue China, July 2010.

So this week will be an all Hyun Yi Lee week. I will be featuring her recent work from Monday to Friday (or Saturday).
